ROTOMOLDED COOLER WARRANTY
All Fatboy cooler rotomolded shells (lid and base) are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for 5 years from the original date of receipt. All wear parts (non-rotomolded components) are warranted for a period 90 days from date of purchase (ie. Handles, Drain assembly, T-Latch, etc). Our warranty does not apply to damage caused by negligence, misuse, fire, personal modifications or commercial usage. Accidental or normal wear and tear is not warranted including scratches, dents, chips or discoloration due to usage or sunlight. The rotomolding process will create slight irregularities in every cooler. No two coolers are alike. Minor blemishes, chaffing, scuffs, or rough edges are not covered under warranty and do not qualify for a replacement. Additional warranty exclusions are stated below.
LID GASKET SEAL
As part of any rotomolded cooler design lid seepage is a normal function to aid cooler lid opening. Coolers are not warranted to be air tight. In most cases your cooler will open easily without having to use the vacuum release button. In some cases when there is an extreme temperature difference the lid may seal so tight that you need to use the vacuum release button to open the cooler. The cooler lid seal merges at the left center of lid. That area where the seal merges may have a slight gap which is normal.
LID WATER SEEPAGE
In the unlikely event your cooler is upside down, water seepage will likely occur and does not constitute warranty replacement.
Plastics regularly expand and contract given environmental conditions. Slight lid warping may occur which is not covered under warranty unless performance of the cooler is materially impacted.
Ice retention time is not warranted on any of our rotomolded coolers or backpack coolers. Ice retention is dependent on cooler size, cooler color, cooler use, climate, ice quality, amount of ice, starting food and beverage temperatures, starting cooler temperature, and how often the cooler is opened. FATPACK BACKPACK COOLER WARRANTY
All Fatboy Fatpack Backpacks "Original and Heavy-Duty" are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for 90 days from the original date of purchase. Punctures or tears caused my misuse or sharp objects are not covered under warranty.
This warranty applies only to the original owner. This warranty is void if the product is used commercially, structurally altered or subjected to stress beyond the physical limits of the materials used in the body or components, or is damaged as a result of abnormal use. Normal wear and tear is not warrantied.
Fatboy Coolers sole obligation in the event of such defects during this period is to repair or replace the defective part or product with a comparable part or product at Fatboy Coolers sole discretion. Except for such repair or replacement, the sale, processing or other handling of this product is without warranty, condition or other liability even though the defect or loss is caused by negligence or other fault. Damage resulting from use, accident, or normal wear and tear is not covered by this or any warranty. Fatboy Coolers assumes no liability for any accident, injury, death, loss, or other claim related to or resulting from the use of this product. In no event shall Fatboy Coolers be liable for incidental or consequential damages relating to or resulting from the use of this product or any of its parts. Replacement of parts and/or products under this warranty are subject to shipping, handling, replacement and/or restocking fees and will be collected prior to shipping. You will be responsible for arranging for the return shipping costs for all warranty claims.
Fatboy Coolers reserves the right to change our products design without incurring any obligations to incorporate such changes into any products repaired or replaced under this warranty.
Damaged products must be returned directly to Fatboy Coolers immediatley, in the original box, freight prepaid. Please include a copy of the original sales receipt and the Return Authorization Number (RMA#) with the product. Replacements will not be sent until we receive your return.
HOW TO FILE A WARRANTY CLAIM
Fatboy Coolers will replace manufacturing defects that are covered by our warranty.
Before sending your product to Fatboy Coolers, please submit a warranty claim by emailing the following information to email@example.com:

- Email address
- Phone number
- Model number and color of product
- Reason for warranty claim request
- Date of purchase
- PDF or photo copy of original receipt
- Color photo showing warranty issue
- Ship-to address to return repaired / replacement product
Fatboy Coolers will gather more information if necessary, and validate your request. If our Customer Support Team determines that your problem qualifies under warranty coverage, you will be given a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#).
Once your claim has been authorized, package your product in accordance with your shipper’s policies, add your RMA number to the shipping label (please do not write on the box) and send your product to the following location:

We will inspect the product and repair or replace, at our option, any product determined by Fatboy Coolers to be a manufacturer’s defect.
